Lenovo’s Tiny New Xiaoxin Desktop Packs Ryzen 7 Power into an 8.2-Liter Chassis

Lenovo just released a beautiful new desktop designed for big productivity that could change your idea of the traditional black/gray workstation. All this processing power is packed into the new Xiaoxin personal business desktop, which balances AMD’s newest Ryzen 7 H 255 processor with a decidedly small footprint, making it ideal for home offices or small collaborative work environments.

Little Footprint, Huge Impact

At its heart though, the Xiaoxin desktop is powered by AMD’s 4nm Zen 4 architecture, boasting 8 cores, 16 threads and built-in Radeon 780M graphics (RDNA 3). That translates to seamless multitasking and great casual gaming or content creation. No discrete GPU needed.

We’ll spare you too many computing jokes though we can let you in on one by making them! You receive two RAM selections.

– 16GB DDR5-5200MHz (dual-channel)

– 32GB DDR5-5200MHz (power users)

Storage doesn’t lack for space, either, thanks to a 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD and that storage can be further expanded via dual M.2 slots. Looking for extra RAM? With two SODIMM memory slots that’s painful, because you can’t go back and upgrade later.

not loud, not hot, not awkward, not unfriendly

Housed in an 8.2-liter chassis replete with a matte finish and just the right amount of rainbow-striped minimalist flair, this desktop easily won’t look out of place in a conference room as it might in a LAN party. Lenovo’s newly overhauled thermal design makes sure noise levels are dropped to a near imperceptible 20.3dB(AOutput of the photo caption when using it lightly so you’ll hardly know it’s even installed.

Ports, Pros, and Warranty

– Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, wireless uncluttered

- USB 3.2 Gen 1 (Type-A & Type-C), HDMI, DisplayPort, and LAN

– Comes with Windows 11 Home, Microsoft Office Home Edition, and a wired keyboard and mouse

— Backed by a 3-year onsite warranty—uncommon for prebuilt desktops

Availability: China (For The Time Being)

Lenovo hasn’t said when or how much it will cost globally, but the Xiaoxin desktop is already available in China. If you’re looking to get your hands on this compact powerhouse, stay tuned for news on Lenovo’s officials
