This is a major update to Samsung fans as as far as Samsung flagships go, the renders of Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra have been outed online with their design updated. Lending credence to this, the new leak which came a few days before the end of July indicates Samsung will be redesigning its flagship Ultra series with its most radical touch as of yet.
Leaked photos show an observably slimmed down and reduced weight shell, which is another sign of Samsung actively promoting superior ergonomics. Although the overall silhouette is unchanged and remains, at the most, unapologetically Ultra, the S26 Ultra is said to feature a bit more width and height, although said to weigh less than its predecessor, thus indicating that the extra engineering would need to go far in areas such as interior to reduce weight without affecting the build quality. Its thin profile will be approximately 7 8mm, which will improve its one-handed usage.
The most graphic change is in the camera array, perhaps. The rear camera is another staple of Samsung Ultra phones that would now receive a new layout of possibly less prominent camera bump and an overall more balanced camera group. Based on information that went around together with the renders, the S26 Ultra could be equipped with an enhanced camera system featuring a new laser auto-focus sensor, as well as a third-generation anti-reflective glass smoothing, all in a bid to deliver better pictures and the avoidance of glare.
Other than changes to the design, the leak also indicates support of quicker wired charging, and the high end display specifications, including the 6.9-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED display and a 144Hz refresh rate, will be maintained as well.
Although nothing is official with Samsung, the leaked renders have definitely sparked the interest all over again as we anticipate the entry of the Galaxy S26 Ultra come 2026. In case these changes in design are realized, the S26 ultra will become a new standard in the smartphone world in terms of design and user experience.
