Samsung officially confirmed the Galaxy S25 Edge release date will be May 13. Hours ago. Previous rumors indicated initial sales in China and Korea by May 23. Then worldwide rollout begins May 30.
A massive leak just occurred that revealed all the information regarding this trendy new phone. We received renders with three colors and complete pricing details for European markets.
S25 Edge finds its place between S25+ and S25 Ultra in Samsung's family. German prices begin at €1,249 for 256GB version. The 512GB variant is €1,369, which ain't cheap but as expected from premium device.
Samsung's new Edge received a stunning 6.7-inch 1440x3120 AMOLED display with silky 120Hz refresh. It's guarded by Corning's latest Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 technology. The ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is placed right beneath the display, and the back panel takes advantage of Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for ultimate strength. Samsung went high-end with titaneum frame build like they did with Ultra.
Under the hood, this phone is fitted with Qualcomm's strong Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor coupled with 12GB RAM. Camera configuration features humongous 200MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture and OIS. Ultrawide lens received 12MP with f/2.2 aperture. Selfie camera also 12MP f/2.2.
The phone ships with Android 15 and One UI 7 out of the box.
To keep phone super thin at a mere 5.85mm and light at merely 163g, Samsung had to have compromise on battery size. 3,900mAh capacity smallest in whole S25 family. Still has wireless charging though. Also IP68 water resistant in spite of slim profile.
No telephoto lens is disappointing but the form factor is mind-blowing.
Comes in three titanium colors: Jetblack, Icyblue, Silver.
