GPU Z Utility suggests new GeForce RTX 3050 Model

GeForce RTX 3050 may soon become another addition to the real pro as it enters the landscape of graphics cards, even though the business has already received an updated GPU-Z utility with support being prompted against the likes of GPUs. One of the most popular graphics monitoring tools, GPU-Z, used by both enthusiasts and professional users, has added an unannounced model to track data on its hardware, the GeForce RTX 3050 A. This is an indication that there could be a fifth variant coming up soon enough, that would further prolong the life of the 3050.

What’s New?

Fifth-iteration: This possible launch would designate the RTX 3050 A the first of a fifth-iteration RTX 3050 series alongside the 8GB, 6GB and the different GA106/GA107-based versions of the RTX 3050 series.

Ada Lovelace Silicon: Rumour has it this model may be using the newer AD106 silicon which would imply a change in silicon architecture to Ada Lovelace instead of the original Ampere. This change has the prospect of providing performance or efficiency over its predecessors.

The Extending Family of RTX 3050

In the past several years the GeForce RTX 3050 series had been developed rather quickly:

  • 8 GB GA106 RTX 3050 (desktop)
  • GA107 RTX 3050 8 GB (desktop)
  • GA107 6GB RTX 3050 (desktop)
  • RTX 3050 4GB GA107 (desktop/OEM)

And what about now the unannounced RTX 3050 A, that might utilize AD106 (Ada Lovelace).

The Implications of this to Users

The fact that Nvidia continues to expand RTX 3050 family with new models highlights the company decision to focus on various budget and entry-level gaming segments without ignoring the old series of GPUs, despite new models with higher specifications released. In case RTX 3050 A is released, it would show off that Nvidia can still recycle and optimize silicon between product generations to support different use cases.

Although the official specifications are still a secret, GPU-Z already has an early support detail, and that is, it is probably about to be announced, so fans cannot wait to get some more information!
