Vivo on Tuesday has launched its new mid-range powerhouse, the Vivo V60e, in India with an ultra high resolution camera of 200 mP and a huge 6,500mAh battery.
According to the company, V60e is a device targeted at people passionate about cameras that has an impressive 200-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization and 30x zoom, and an 8 MP ultra-wide lens. It has a 50 MP selfie camera on the front with an Eye AF feature to capture clear self-portraits.
The phone has a MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo chipset, which is paired with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage capacities. It comes pre-loaded with Funtouch OS 15 which is based on android 15. Regarding software support, Vivo is offering a three year OS upgrade and a five year security patches.
One of its assets is its 6,500 mAh Silicon-Carbon battery, which is compatible with 90 W fast charging of wires Vivo boasts that the device can be charged within a short time. The capabilities of connectivity are NFC, IR blaster, USB-C and 360-degree antenna system to provide enhanced network coverage. The phone is also IP68 and IP69 dust and waterproof.
It will be designed with a 6.77-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and is covered in Diamond Shield glass. The V60e is available in two colour options, which are Elite Purple and Noble Gold.
In terms of price, the 8 GB + 128 GB model will be priced at Rs 29,999 with the 8 GB + 256 GB and 12 GB + 256 GB variants being priced at Rs 31,999 and Rs 33,999, respectively. The sales will commence later this month through the official store of Vivo, Flipkart, Amazon and direct retail stores.
Having its bold camera and battery features, the V60e is the Vivo trying to push the limit in the Indian mid-range market - particularly to users who are keen on photography and long battery life.
