Grand Theft Auto VI is seemingly in a long queue before it can make its much-awaited PC appearance. Althouh the console version is due to release on November, 19 2026, it is speculated and reported in the industry that PC gamers might not receive the title until 2028.
Rockstar Games, the developers, and Take two Interactive, the publisher, have given the reason of the delay with the console as the need to polish and assure d quality of the console across platforms, although they have not made available the date of the PC release.
This has caused lot of frustration in PC Players who feel they have been sidelined by the console users who are the major target. It is a combination of disappointment and resignation about the prospect of PC arriving in 2028 as reflected online discussion.
Analysts believe that the postponement of the PC version could be a strategic decision: the publishers could maximise the lncome in several hardware generations and deal with the technical complexity of the open-world porting of such a large title. Nevertheless, such a strategi may turn off the huge and vocal PC game audience.
